Three reasons. First, the space supply chain is increasingly software-driven — flight controllers, mission planning, ground-segment data pipelines, constellation network optimization — and AI infrastructure expertise (the patent and capability that anchor Albright Laboratories) is structural input to nearly every commercial space company building today.
Second, the federal space lane is one of the largest single-buyer markets in our 8(a) pursuit set — NASA, Space Force, NRO, NOAA all procure heavily on the schedules and vehicles Albright is positioning for. Software, ground-segment data services, and mission-operations consulting are the highest-leverage entry points for a small business without orbital hardware capability.
Third, air mobility (eVTOL, supersonic, autonomous drones) is the nearest-term consumer/enterprise application of frontier transportation tech, and the regulatory + safety stack that gets built for it sets precedent for the full autonomous-vehicle envelope. The companies here are good candidates for the Albright Talent + Vendor Network platforms once those mature.
