Tech Lead — Medicine Ventures

Mission

Own technical evaluation and engineering coverage for Albright's Medicine venture area — digital health, clinical AI, biotech tooling, and the engineering credibility required to partner with healthcare-system buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Track technical developments across digital health, clinical AI, and biotech tooling
  • Author technical briefs and diligence memos on venture targets
  • Lead technical scoping for healthcare-vertical opportunities
  • Build engineering relationships at health-system and biotech targets
  • Partner with Clinical Data Engineer and Regulatory Affairs Analyst
  • Represent Albright at industry forums (HIMSS, JPMorgan Healthcare)
  • Inform internal R&D priorities based on healthcare signal

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years engineering experience in healthcare, clinical data, or digital health
  • Strong systems-thinking and technical-writing chops
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and clinical data standards (FHIR, HL7)
  • Ability to translate technical depth into executive-ready briefs

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior role at a digital-health, EHR, or clinical-AI company
  • Background in regulated medical software (SaMD, 510(k))
  • Working knowledge of FDA software guidance
  • Florida base
