Mission
Own technical evaluation and engineering coverage for Albright's Education venture area — AI tutors, workforce credentialing, and the edtech infrastructure that supports both K-12 and adult learners.
Responsibilities
- Track technical developments across AI tutoring and workforce credentialing
- Author technical briefs and diligence memos on edtech venture targets
- Lead technical scoping for edtech-vertical opportunities
- Build engineering relationships at edtech and credentialing targets
- Partner with AI-Tutor Curriculum Engineer on capability mapping
- Represent Albright at industry forums (ASU+GSV, BETT, FETC)
- Inform internal R&D priorities based on education signal
Required qualifications
- 5+ years engineering in edtech, AI learning systems, or comparable
- Strong systems-thinking and technical-writing chops
- Working knowledge of LMS, LRS, and learner-record standards
- Ability to translate technical depth into executive-ready briefs
Preferred qualifications
- Prior role at an edtech, LMS, or workforce-credentialing company
- Background with xAPI, Caliper, or comparable learning analytics
- Working knowledge of FERPA
- Florida base
