Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright + pytest)

Level: Senior Department: Engineering Location: Florida HQ / Remote-OK Classification: W-2

Mission

Own the test automation strategy across the Albright product line. Build the Playwright + pytest harness that catches regressions before users do, and prove every feature ships green.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end browser test coverage in Playwright
  • Build and maintain pytest-based integration tests for backends
  • Run test suites in CI; gate merges on green
  • Build flaky-test triage tooling and reliability dashboards
  • Partner with product on acceptance criteria and test-case design
  • Mentor engineers on testability and test ownership
  • Establish performance and load-testing baselines

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years QA / SDET engineering
  • Strong Playwright (or Cypress) and pytest experience
  • Comfort with Python and TypeScript
  • Track record bringing flake rate down and coverage up

Preferred qualifications

  • Background at a fintech or other high-reliability product
  • Experience with contract testing and load testing
  • Open-source contributions to test tooling
  • Working knowledge of accessibility testing (axe-core)
