Senior Platform Engineer (K8s / Postgres / Cloudflare)

Level: Senior Department: Engineering Location: Florida HQ / Remote-OK Classification: W-2

Mission

Own the shared platform that every Albright product runs on — Kubernetes, Postgres, Cloudflare, CI/CD, and the internal developer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the production K8s clusters across self-hosted and cloud environments
  • Own Postgres infrastructure — backups, replication, performance, pgvector
  • Manage Cloudflare tunnels, R2, Workers, and DNS posture
  • Build and improve internal CI/CD on GitHub Actions Runner Controller
  • Establish developer-experience tooling — bootstrap scripts, env management
  • Partner with security on K8s admission policies and secret management
  • Be on-call for shared infrastructure incidents

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years infrastructure or platform engineering
  • Production Kubernetes operating experience
  • Strong Postgres administration background
  • Comfort with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, Kustomize)

Preferred qualifications

  • Cloudflare ecosystem experience (Tunnels, R2, Workers)
  • Experience with GitHub ARC (Actions Runner Controller)
  • Background in fintech or trading infra reliability
  • Open-source platform contributions
