Senior Frontend Engineer (Next.js / React)

Level: Senior Department: Engineering Location: Florida HQ / Remote-OK Classification: W-2

Mission

Own the user-facing surface across Albright's commercial products. Build interfaces that are fast, accessible, and credible enough for federal and enterprise buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Build production UIs in Next.js / React with strong accessibility posture
  • Own the design system in collaboration with the UX Designer
  • Implement and maintain the marketing site, dashboards, and admin surfaces
  • Drive frontend performance — Core Web Vitals, bundle size, TTI
  • Establish frontend testing standards (Playwright, Vitest)
  • Partner with backend engineers on API contracts
  • Mentor mid-level frontend engineers

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years professional frontend engineering
  • Deep TypeScript, React, and Next.js experience
  • Strong CSS, accessibility, and responsive-design chops
  • Production experience with performance optimization

Preferred qualifications

  • Design-system authorship experience
  • Background in enterprise SaaS dashboard UIs
  • Open-source contributions
  • Comfort working closely with product designers
