IT Helpdesk Lead

Level: Mid-Senior Department: IT Location: Florida HQ / On-Site Classification: W-2

Mission

Own internal IT — laptop fleet, identity, MDM, helpdesk, and the corporate-IT posture required for SOC2 and federal-contractor compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the laptop fleet (Mac + Windows) including MDM
  • Own the identity stack (Google Workspace, Okta, or comparable)
  • Run the helpdesk queue with response-time SLAs
  • Manage SaaS-license inventory and renewals
  • Establish endpoint-security controls (EDR, disk encryption, patching)
  • Partner with security on SOC2 and CMMC IT controls
  • Onboard and offboard employees in coordination with HR

Required qualifications

  • 4+ years IT helpdesk or IT operations experience
  • Hands-on Mac and Windows administration
  • MDM experience (Jamf, Intune, Kandji)
  • Working knowledge of identity and SSO

Preferred qualifications

  • Background at a federal contractor (CMMC IT controls)
  • CompTIA Security+ or Network+
  • Working knowledge of zero-trust and Cloudflare Access
  • Florida base required for on-site days
