Mission
Build and run the people function — talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and culture. Be the first HR leader in the door and codify the systems that let Albright scale through 100 employees and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Own all recruiting, onboarding, performance, and offboarding processes
- Manage benefits — health, 401(k), PTO, equity administration
- Lead employee relations, including investigations and accommodations
- Maintain federal and state employment compliance (EEO, OFCCP, FLSA)
- Build and maintain the employee handbook and HR policies
- Partner with managers on performance, comp planning, and leveling
- Run the HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems
Required qualifications
- 7+ years HR experience; 3+ years as HR Director or HR Business Partner
- Demonstrated experience scaling HR from 20 to 100+ employees
- Strong knowledge of US federal and state employment law
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
Preferred qualifications
- Experience at a federal contractor (OFCCP audit experience)
- Florida-based employer experience
- Background in tech or professional-services HR
- Track record building HR from scratch
