Defense Industry Analyst (cleared)

Level: Mid-Senior Department: Ventures Location: Florida HQ / On-Site Classification: Federal-Cleared W-2

Mission

Provide analytical depth on defense and intelligence-community markets, programs, and technology developments for Albright's Security venture coverage and federal capture work.

Responsibilities

  • Track DoD and IC program developments and budget cycles
  • Author market and competitive analyses on defense primes and mid-tiers
  • Maintain databases of relevant programs, contracts, and PEOs
  • Support capture and proposal teams with program intelligence
  • Partner with Tech Lead on technology-trend analyses
  • Maintain agency relationships through cleared channels
  • Support briefings to the executive team on defense market signal

Required qualifications

  • 4+ years defense industry analysis or related work
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Working knowledge of DoD PPBE and acquisition lifecycles
  • Strong research and writing chops

Preferred qualifications

  • Top Secret / SCI clearance
  • Prior role at a defense prime, think tank, or IC contractor
  • Background in a specific service or COCOM
  • DC-metro base; Florida on-site days as required
