Aerospace Systems Analyst

Level: Mid Department: Ventures Location: Florida HQ / Remote-OK Classification: W-2

Mission

Provide deep analytical support for Albright's Space + Travel venture coverage — market sizing, technical comparison, and the diligence rigor that informs investment and partnership decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain landscape maps of the launch and satellite markets
  • Author technical comparison memos on competing systems and architectures
  • Track regulatory developments (FAA AST, FCC, ITAR)
  • Support diligence on venture-coverage opportunities
  • Maintain the venture-coverage internal database
  • Partner with engineering on R&D priorities informed by industry signal
  • Support proposal authorship on aerospace-adjacent federal pursuits

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years aerospace systems or industry-analyst experience
  • Strong technical-writing chops
  • Working knowledge of launch and satellite architectures
  • Demonstrated research and synthesis ability

Preferred qualifications

  • Background in space-policy or aerospace consulting
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Working knowledge of ITAR/EAR posture
  • Florida base
